Visit anytime - but if you would like a guided tour, please try to schedule at least two weeks in advance of the date you wish to visit in order to procure the best service. Large groups and school tours should, of course, be scheduled as early as possible. We can handle groups up to 30 people with relative ease by rotating them through different "stations" of the museum. Groups larger than 35 or 40 are not recommended due to space constraints. Handicap access is available on the North side of the building. Please allow approximately one hour for your museum tour. Public hours are noon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, but other days/hours are available by appointment. No admission fee is charged, but donations are sorely needed and gladly accepted. Schools outside of Franklin County will be charged $1.50 per student due to the time and effort involved in coordinating/conducting tours.
